“I decided to move to a different neighborhood in NYC and called Jim to give me a market analysis of what he thought my apartment could sell for. He showed me comparables in the neighborhood and told me that we could get $100,000 more than what I thought was maximum value at the time by making a few simple changes. He suggested some paint colors, some new furniture, art, and flooring coverings, which cost me around $15,000.00. We listed for $150,000 more than my thought of the maximum price. I contacted Jim and we sat down over lunch as he described all of the nuances of buying an apartment in the city. After a very thorough market review, we then started looking at several apartments.
